laptops are a much more personal computer.  i think if we had a spy in  
the apple design ethics department, we'd learn that "people take their  
computers to bed" is one of the big secrets, and with each iteration  
of styling that the macbooks go through, this is more and more  
obvious.  sleep with the macbook air?  i'm quite sure a lot of air  
owners do so ..
