I agree - this is an absolute requirement for gaming, as SKY uses HDMI
for it's HD box outputs it's very rare not to have this in the UK on
true 1080 pixel TVs.

As for Gert's green spot, it should be fixable, probably for zero cost
with equipment you already have at home! Google 'Degauss TV' for info.
