Im with you on this m at . Sure, I had a great editor but it was just too much
pain. Way too much pain. Great idea, great sound, but pointless as
impossibly inaccessible (for me). And yep, FM8 is a beautiful interface and
makes FM easy..

I don't really like seeing the word 'investment' in muso forums. One,
because I have never heard of anyone making significant money out of gear
(in order to be able to call it an investment) and two, its music! Its on a
par with describing sending your children to college as an investment (btw -
that is very tongue in cheek!)
But really, Im just being pedantic. I think you are saying you don't buy
$2000 DSP synths because you know they will be worth $1000 in a year, half
again the next. You are probably referring to keeping stuff that will
always have an inherant value, like a classic guitar or synth, which you
will never really lose money on. If so, with you all the way. Not by
concious effort, just because that is the sort of gear that gets me hot.
