When I'm outside the studio, I borrow the Edirol R4-Pro 4-channel
recorder from the office. The majority of recording there were made with
the Soundfield mic that comes with its own 4-channel pre-amp. I've also
done some voice-over recently where I plugged an AKG C1000 straight into it.

In the studio, I'm using the TC Goldchannel as pre-amp and A/D
converter, that then goes into the MOTU system using S/PDIF.
