Happy Birthday Mr. Coplin

Thank-you one and all! I actually went out to celebrate last night as I had
a sitter for the boy. Pretty low key actually which is really what I
wanted. My class load is really heavy so the last thing I wanted was a hard
night out. We went for Sushi to start, drove over to great Tiki bar in
town, went bowling at an alley where they had a stage set up in the middle
of the lanes with a Rock-a-billy band playing, and then off to my favorite
restaurant for dessert. Nice, easy, a fun. Today I'm having some tea and
getting caught up on all the homework I didn't do yesterday!
As far as gear, I bought my own. Happy Birthday to me!

and I am *really* looking hard at Omnisphere. Anyone want to push me one
way or the other off the fence?
When is the RPM deadline anyhow? I really don't have time but I always feel
bad I never participate so I might make myself. 90BPM is right where I like
it (or slower).
Thanks again for the birthday greetings, I had just gotten in when they
started arriving so it was a nice way to end an evening out - but damn I'm
starting to feel old. 38 is perilously close to 40 and I had hoped to have
my PhD done by then but it is going to be close...

And around this time, in most of the US as well. Congratulations!
What did you get as a present? Gear? :)
