It never ever snows here. Something like a decade ago, there was so much 
hail that it looked like snow, but that's about it.
What we've had a lot of, though, is rain. It didn't really get cold this 
winter, never under 10 C and usually between 10 and 15 C, but whereas 
the autumn was lovely and warm, the amount of rain this winter is 
starting to get on my nerves. It started in November and hasn't really 
stopped.
Contributing factors are that there's no drainage for rain water at all, 
so everything floods to the lowest point, and that the roads develop 
potholes after enough rain has fallen. Which means punctures and burst 
tyres.
No drainage is understandable in summer: there's basically no rain from 
mid June to mid September. But in winter, those flooded streets (and 
floating cars if you're not careful) are a bit of a nuisance.
Ah well. Give it another month or two, and it'll be T-shirt weather again.
