A friend of mine died yesterday.

I was at the Metalab last night, and it is a strange place now.  I  
could write tomes on what I have observed.

But now I need to put it behind me, because it is a new day and there  
are lives still here worth delivering the best possible days.

I will miss him, really.  He was a very, very vibrant person.  He  
taught me some things I didn't expect.
