I went all Google Mail a year ago, though I still use Thunderbird as 
mailreader on the stationary. Have all accounts IMAP'ed so wherever I 
read the mails (iPhone, MacBook, Web, Thunderbird) it always syncs 
changes (read/unread/put into a map/deleted etc.) to the other places.
