Question Mac/Cloning HD

This might be one for Jay.

I'm going to sell some gear that I don't use much, to get some 
funds for a new Mac desktop (my old G4 is now 10 YO!)

I'm quite happy with the setup on my Macbook (Logic, Ableton and 
the softsyths I need), and I would like to have exactly the same 
setup on the new computer, without all of the installation 
hassle. Mind you, this should be a bootable HD. I use Leopard.

1. What's the best way to clone this set-up?
2. Will I need to re-authorize Ableton and all the other software?
