Studio monitors rec's

Thinking of replacing my monitors, one of them has gone bad, I think I  
blew it, rattles pretty loudly at low frequencies. Alesis M1 Active  
Mk2, have had them for a pretty long time and they are absolutely  
wonderful for the price. I'm going to see if Alesis will just sell me  
one new one (they come in a pair.) Or I might upgrade, was wondering  
if anyone has any recommendations for a new pair?
