doesn't it just feel too much like you're trying to eat dinner with a  
hammer, though?  i mean, to capture a sound and then have to tend to  
it through a matchbox .. hrmm.  i miss the brave days when journalists  
called it and let the dogs have the rest.  people buying into the  
'reason for this thing is the sound' are why we continually get  
utterly dog interfaces.
