weekend gig

Well,

  I played as a deputy bassist for a local band on friday just gone.
Had one hell of time. I had 22 songs to learn in 9 weeks, just about  
managed it (made a couple of small mistakes) but the audience didn't  
notice. The guys in the band both seemed to thoroughly enjoy it and I  
havn't had that much fun with music in many many years.
