2 Sequencers (was: Live Suite Dilemma)

Hi James etc.
I have never understood people that use 2 sequencers. James uses Live and
Cubase, and this is not at all uncommon (double negative?).
I think if a single sequencer does not do everything for you, maybe you need
another sequencer? Sequencers are so complex and problematic, I have no
desire to double my troubles with two sequencers.
Am I missing something? Are there really benefits to using 2 sequencers?
Are we really so sophisticated that no single sequencer is comprehensive
enough for our demands?
Btw, Im not trying to talk myself into getting another sequencer. I really
do like a simple 1 sequencer setup.
