Only to a certain extent. As soon as products (food, air, 
housing, healthcare) get scarce - which is mostly from the 
beginning - money will start to be a manifestation of power.

Of course. Money is a result of essential products being/getting 
scarce, and as soon as products get scarce, no-one can be trusted.

Trust is not a foundation upon which life or a society can be 
based; trust is a result of a stable society.

> No trust - in oneself, in ones fellow man == no money.

I think this is a very wrong statement, and if it were true, it 
would be all the more reason to get rid of money.
