Live Suite Dilemma

I find rewire to be a liability. Often I end up going back and tweaking a
track long after I worked on it. Using rewire kind of requires me to keep
twice the archive material and the same configurations of plugins etc. as I
did at the time I last worked the track. I really don't find it much of a
bother to just reimport the tracks with the timing from live and finish it
in cubase. Of course, that means I don't get to use any of the cool live
only features. I really just use live as a sketchpad of sorts.
