did you upgrade your a3k to 2.0 OS?  coz 1.2 had serious faults in the  
disk-corruption department, remember?

if you can find a3kdos.exe, which was a command-line utility program i  
wrote to drive the a3ksfsio.dll driver, you might still be able to  
repair your partition.  i remember sending it to a few people to play  
with - though obviously, since it was rather a dangerous tool to play  
with, i didn't make it public ..
