Freakin Mopho

Yeah, sound like a very nice balance. If it gets to 399 USD, it's pretty
good.

I was first a little worried there was no way to use it without an external
keyboard but it does have the evo-style sequencer in it so that's all good.
The manual is really straightforward w.r.t to internal possibilities, I like
the way they document their products.

Only drawback is that there's no way to edit it fully with a computer but
it's a nice 'bring it along - tweak it a bit' machine whose concept (edit &
unplug) reminds me of my good old nord micro modular.

I do however wonder what is the crossover with the evo. In *theory*, the evo
desktop can do everything the mopho can (and a lot more), so it's a question
of knowing how different the circuitry is.

Funny I was explaining the concept of the old school 8bit tables related to
notes and it's precisely dave's 'triggered sequencer'. wonder how fast you
can get it running and if it does 96PPQ :)

Also, a lot of the video runs it through a delay that the mopho specs
doesn't have.
