scripty from metalab has been working on a graphical audio spectrum  
analyzer at metalab as part of the CGSG (computer graphics interest  
group) meetings, which i've been wallflower'ing, and last night we  
mucked around with it to produce some new templates:

some cleanup required, but hopefully he'll get an .app bundle made  
soon and you guys can see what i mean .. really an inspiring bit of  
code to run during a jam session.  whats really nice is you can put  
your own picture in, instead of for example the BACH image, and it  
will animate ..
