Why the omega 8 has me so transfixed.

When you pay for a synth toy you are subsidizing lifestyle.

When you build one yourself you are enhancing your own lifestyle  
through the experience and rewards of doing something unique, which  
nobody else will do the same way.

To each his own but please enough with the rampant foamy consumerist  
superiority .. Factory synths are just as boring as diy if you're not  
using them, either. Preset lovers versus infinite tweakers = 0 sum  
politics.

Ask yourself this question: what is in  front of you right now and  
what are you about to do with it?
