  There is no room to turn the table due to the size of the room and
other furniture.  The position of the desk at the moment is ideal for
the room.

If you turn your table 90 degres to put the back of your monitors next
to the right wall ( from your pictures point of view)...

I think you will get more place "room " ( if yes ..) => you just need to
put the speakers on the right wall , 

Maybe you can buy another table ...

That's the thing, I want to start using it again.  Space is a real issue
for me and this is my only option.
