Hi Gert,
  Thanks for listening and getting back to me.  I will try a different
reverb to see what effect it has.  I'm also thinking I need to play
around with the EQ on the sub bass a bit more to give it more impact and
to lift the track a bit.  It doesn't seem to be working in its current
state. :(

Hey, Declan,

Nice one. I don't know, though, what to think of the ambient 
reverb that you put on it. It sort of makes the whole thing a bit 
less "direct" and less powerful. Have you tried without?
