walking hotspot

This is an interesting concept. I use my blackberry to tether to my
laptop, which is more of a modem emulation kind of thing.  Acting as a
WIFI hotspot would be interesting, if not only because it would save
me having to physically cable it to the laptop.

I hope more manufacturers get in on this idea.
