really a pity because you could do it cheap and it'd be just what you  
needed and not much else.

i was going to suggest you get a pocketpiano and we could code up a  
usb-midi compliant driver for it .. but then i realized you'd probably  
not want to hear about it until we've actually gotten that far and  
done it ourselves ..
