You can't.  Be really careful purchasing a used system and make sure you are
getting the card you need.  There are 3 flavors of the card out there for
the 424. You can get an upgrade from the base PCI version but only if the
previous owner hadn't already used the upgrade.  So, check with MOTU prior
to purchasing a used unit if you need to upgrade.

The card comes as PCI, PCI Xpress and PCI Express.  Make sure which one you
need.  Also, the PCI came in two versions, one that will work with MACs one
that won't.  Both versions work with the PC.
