I downloaded and installed this last night and while it is fine, it 
doesn't run as well as XP did.  It boots slower and opens programs 
slower.  Not a major difference but definitely noticeable.  The loss of 
outlook and powerpoint are enough to make me put XP back on it. It is 
however leaps and bounds better than the linux that came with the 
eee-pc.  Ick.
