I used the Stereo Vitalizer MKII for a couple of years. It's a
very nice piece of gear, and it's certainly possible to give a
mix or a submix or even an instrument that extra bit of depth.
On the other hand, it's rather easy to overdo it, or get addicted
to the sound. After a while you might suddenly realize that your
mixes are always much brighter and broader than anyone elses (and
I mean: not in a positive way).
After some years I guess I sort of got bored with it, and I sold it.
In short: if you know how to do stuff in moderation (I certainly
didn't then!) you may like it a lot.
