Software has moved on into other hardware territories  .. the most  
innovative stuff I'm seeing these days for music-making is happening  
on Nintendo DS and iPhone .. Sure, its not 'pro', in the same sense  
that the IBM PC wasn't a "pro" computer to the greybeard halon-room  
types, but hey .. some really great tunes are being made by those who  
are totin' it in the pocket ..
