<most> soft drinks are known to be bad. If they don't rot your teeth or 
make you hyper, they'll f'up your guts or urinary system.

It just reinforces my point as I mentioned change of diet or exercise as 
cure alls that really do work a lot of the time. I forgot smoking and 
drinking.

I'm sure the waving of bottles (or watches) around did nothing at all 
but put a gloss on what all good doctors advise patients regardless of 
condition.

Common sense seems severely lacking when it comes to what one does with 
ones own body. It's a bit like we can all see the harm others are doing 
(when in the right frame of mind) but are blinkered when it comes to 
seeing it in ourselves and make endless excuses to deny the abuses, 
Confucius, the mucous, unscrupulous douches! :)
