Just as I am a self-proclaimed Bullshit Scientist! :)

Most things that are claimed to be new discoveries are really just a few 
old discoveries elastoplasted together, or at the very best a slightly 
different blend of basic ingredients that were 'discovered' in the 
pantry just on the outer edge of their best before date and had to be used.

AND I'm feeling a bit less pessimistic than usual today ;)
