Matrix 1000 vs Quasimidi Quasar

one synth i really regret letting go was the matrix 1000, with access  
programmer.  it was truly a great sounding synth - very harsh at  
times, but also capable of some interesting warmth as well.

the UI plain sucks.  you're not going to love it.  for sure, you'll  
need some software to edit the patches onboard, and/or find some nice  
libraries that update the quite-dated 80's sound of the factory  
defaults.  but if you like the sound, go for it, i say ..
