I am so utterly a fan of JF after discovering Shifting City from 1995 or 
so a few years ago. I absolutely adore the whacky abstract lyrics, and 
the clean instrumentation. They've put out a lot of material lately, and 
while I think it's not necessarily all that great, there are always 
pearls to be found. I also like the semi-live albums, which contain what 
in essence are remixes/modernizations of Foxx's Metamatic-era material. 
The very small changes in that material kinda show how ahead of his time 
Foxx was back then. Or how behind he is now, whichever you prefer :-)
