because i am a programmer.  and i do not like the way apple are  
treating their developers.

this is mostly because i am very appreciative of the way developers  
are coddled on other platforms, these days.

full access to all hardware code, plus OS, plus apps ::versus:: phil- 
collins and pepsi-generation API fascism from california?  i believe  
i finally see the light here after pandering mostly to shadow all the  
while.  i do love the macbook hardware; excellent laptops, but for  
pocket-computing, the iphone is not keeping up with my needs.

plus, in the end, there really isn't anything special about apple  
hardware, except for the fact it goes through a user-$$$ process  
before it leaves the factory.  as a programmer, i'd like to be closer  
to the $$- part, right about now, y'see ..

just think other platforms are becoming as interesting as or more  
than, apple.  i will kick.
