i dunno, i think the new thinkpad at least puts up a decent fight.   
it may not be brushed aluminum, but damn if it isn't nevertheless  
sexy as hell to see linux c0renerds fronting full driver support  
{everything just works} on ibm-approved (not logo'ed, grr..) hardware.
