read EF Benson's "The Man Who Went Too Far".
Accordingly, the attendant Muxtape celebrates Pan, idyllic
nature, entering dark places in the forest where the birds
stop chirping and the brook goes silent, sounds behind you,
sounds beside you, sounds below you wtf?! and all that.
