Poulos' design philosophy seems to favor transparency in his
mixer range; this entails considerable headroom, accurate
stereo imaging and zero crosstalk, with color coming from
your outboard gear {or other mixers}.  Think of it as the
reference point of your studio {assuming you've got the AD
conversion down}.

Now, in my case, I saw the opportunity to get a terrific
sounding mixer that can accompany all the synths in my
studio and grow with me over time as I accrue more outboard.
It'll always sound good.
