It's basically a sample playback vst, but modeled after the very early digital samplers on the market.  So, you get a really nice gritty lo-fi sound that you have a lot of control and modulation on.  You can layer and stack samples very much like traditional samplers.  It also comes with a tool called Samplelink, which is vst that allows you to record anything in your DAW into Morgana.  But again it's the sounds, very nice.
