I changed my mind.
The larder is nearly bare, so made pasta with a rich tomato, onion, 
rocket and mixed greens (from a pot on the porch, grows faster than you 
can eat, but is expensive salad in the shops for some reason) balsamic 
vinegar and home-made celery seed and caper pickle and a little ketchup 
all stewed for a while....

Nae bad for scraps ;)
