Yeah, they've got the *worst* possible collection of screenshots on  
that site that you could imagine, so don't be turned off by this ..  
Ubuntustudio comes *PACKED* with great software and you should just  
try the Demo CD out - download the .iso, burn it to CD, reboot your PC  
(works great on a Macbook too) and experiment with it for a while.  No  
need to install, but you can do that too if you have an external hard  
drive.. make note, it really does work well on a Macbook ..
