thats the cutout remains from the space-invaders wall project, which  
is a whole lot of awesome.

this is the wall in the game room.  its a bloody beautiful thing,  
because all of the artwork is done by hand, and the CNC was used to  
make the invader cutouts ..  the invaders are cut out, and inserted in  
the wall with LED's behind them, and the LED's animate the bejesus out  
of themselves.

yes, that very CNC machine can be used to make inexpensive panels by  
hand.  a few guys have done this already for various projects.  i'm in  
line to use it for my ASM1 panels, one of these days (as well as the  
case for arduinosynth ..)
