Hi Gert,
Thanks for listening. Just to clarify, when I say holding off on the
beat I don't mean in the song arrangement but during it's creation. I
try to create movement and the illusion of a back beat within the track
without actually having a beat present. If I can do that I find adding
a beat somewhere down along the process can only add to the track.
I used the Yamaha AN1x for the bass drone sound and ABL Pro for all of
the other synth sounds, http://www.audiorealism.se/abl_pro_cookin.htm.
Percussion is from a minimal techno sample cd I have and it was all put
together using Abelton Live 6.

Perhaps I would like a bit more
variation, some subtle sounds...
