There are several SATA based solutions that can hook up to your
network that can do what you want.  The hard part is getting a 2TB
unit, as most of what I have seen use 4 500GB drives (two stripped for
1 gb, and then each 1gb container is mirrored).

the other option would be to build an SATA based SAN, of which there
actually is an affordable product (relatively - its $700 without any
drives included) that can house up to 12 drives.  I could look up the
model number on that if you wish.
