Advice on band bio/PR pack

Guys,

 ok, so, our band is getting gigs, and we've been asked to send a CD to our
local BBC radio station, but they also want a bio about the band and some
pictures.

 Now, we're getting some professional pictures taken soon, and I've nearly
finished the new mixes of some of our songs (which sound really good now),
but I'm useless with words.

 Has anyone done a 'PR' pack before? Can they offer any advice? I havn't a
clue where to start!
