Btw, Jay did a kool (although a bit short) talk 1? week ago at the subotron
event. He talked about the history of computer/electronic/console games and
questioned whether the idea of the game cartridge is dated (well... it is, of
course. And seemingly only there to limit copying).
He then talked a bit about open handheld platforms for game development and
not the least; (game)play.
Lastly, he was supposed to demo the gp2x in a live coding session, but that
was quite troublesome.
Anyway; he did a great talk, in front of some very hardcore coders, that he
hadn't expected to show up there, and not many else...
But what I think (and where Jay probably still disagress somewhat), is that
these sort of people could learn quite a bit from a step back, sort of an
overview of the open source game scene. I mean, come on... Hardcore nerds
don't show up a Saturday evening to watch someone talk about how to program
or compile software for a platform - They can very well figure that out for
themselves at home if I am not mistaken? But a talk on the overall
perspective of things - that's not something to be had in front of your
computer now, is it?
So; Jay; You did a good job;)
Now, crosscompile this:
int main()
{
for (int i = 0; i < 100; i++)
cout << " Jay; You did a good job;)" << endl;
return 0;
}
