This was the best decision they could have made under the
circumstances {the developer, Arguru, died about half a year
ago, though it was made free as in beer before then}.

What Highlife lacks in modulation and "mangling"
capabilities it compensates for in transposition quality,
immediacy of use and a cool VSTi sampling function, one of
those "Duh!" features I'd never seen before Highlife.
