Regarding Behringer system 100 - I've heard there are lots of issues with tuning of the 112 VCO.

Doepfer, especially used doepfer on muffwiggler buy sell trade, for budget. Like Tony said, the used market for modular is filled with modules used for about 10 min for 20% off. Not that you shouldn’t be careful in selecting who to buy from - but these things move around like hot tamales.
