The original Greek definition for entropy was ‘a turning towards chaos’ and this is an album about entropy more than anything. The slow winding down of everything into a cold, diffuse scattering of photons and and fields, dancing ever more slowly on to absolute zero (which they can never reach). <div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The processes that get us there are, paradoxically, quite orderly. Time grinds all structures into a fine powder and space blasts it all into emptiness. That was my muse, this time around. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">About the FX:</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">As a part of my hearing problem, I perceive spatial FX a bit different than a normal binaural person would. It’s actually quite difficult to know when ’too much’ is applied and I tend fret about this more than any other factor. I think it gets better with each release, but I appreciate the constructive criticism. I have to mix a stereo field by sight which probably an alien sounding concept to someone who takes plotting a sound to a position in a 3 dimensional field without a thought. Sound, I have learned, is a different experience for me. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Tony</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><div class=""><div><br class=""><blockquote type="cite" class=""><div class="">On May 31, 2020, at 1:26 PM, tom adam <<a href="mailto:tom.adam@thebigear.be" class="">tom.adam@thebigear.be</a>> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div class="">
<div class=""><p class="">nice tunes Tony.</p><p class="">I indeed feel the sounds all coming together in the songs, well
done. It all sounds very organic and peaceful, very balanced. <br class="">
</p><p class="">I'm not a fan of the amount of FX used on some sounds. It's like
they disguising the finesses on some of the underlying sounds.<br class="">
Also I would have expected some chaos in the music as the title
suggest, but it didn't. Not necessarily a bad thing though ;-)<br class="">

This one, fortunately, did not take me almost 8 years to release…
