Not sure if I mentioned it in MB before as I really didn’t take about it at all online but: we had a fire 18 months back.  It didn’t cause any structural damage but it took out all of upstairs and a few rooms downstairs due to smoke damage.  We were in a hotel for about 3 months then rented for 6 months.  Got back home about 4 months ago as and spent a huge amount of time installing a new kitchen and doing two rooms that were not covered by insurance.<br>

Ive had a bit of kit for the last 18 months but a very small amount.  Im very close to having my new studio finished but again, no kit setup yet.<br>
<br>
The fire was all fine.  No one was hurt.  Didn’t lose any synths.  House has been completely re-done so we feel pretty lucky really.<br>

Kids - don’t leave laptops plugged in for extended period!!!<br>

Wow, that sounds bad, Paul. Must have been weird, 3 months in a hotel, 6 months renting, and now back in a new home. I'm glad nobody got hurt and very cool your house got redone :-)<br>
