But no software volume control! That’s completely disabled. A gray icon on the touch bar. Having no level control in the OS is not really a problem, since it degrades audio quality (a tiny tiny unhearable bit), but I’d like the full-mute function to still work (it doesn’t).<br clear="none"><br clear="none">And talking about audio quality, it sounds good! I didn’t do a proper test, but it sounds like especially the bass is more defined (punchy) and the highs have more clarity. Although it’s probably the fully balanced cabling that makes the biggest difference.<br clear="none"><br clear="none">Didn’t test it in Logic yet.
