On Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 9:00 pm, Sonic Rock Orchestra will
entertain you for a Halloween party! Festivities will be at the
Beethoven Waldheim Club in Hellertown. Come in costume if you dare
and enter the contest. Otherwise, enjoy the music, party, and have
a rousing good time.<br>

Sonic Rock Orchestra is a band with very experienced players who
have performed in concerts throughout North America and Europe.
Inspired by the best concert material that Rock can offer, SRO
presents mini-set tributes to bands that are rarely covered well
except by tribute bands that specialize in only one band. SRO plays
at that tribute band level, giving the audience that "You Are There"
experience.<br>
<br>
The tributes will include Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Jethro Tull, the
Moody Blues and our new Deep Purple set.<br>

<font color="#993399">The six-person "orchestra" expertly brought
back sounds from pre-CD days. With their mixture of vintage and
state-of-the-art equipment, Sonic Rock Orchestra had a full sound
that matched the multi-layered work of the groups it covered. The
band’s best received moments came when it veered away from the
original recordings to improvise. Presenting something different
as a local band is difficult. The band proved it has the chops to
do it.</font><br>
