<br>
Here's some pics of the metal threaded insert solution to attach end cheeks, the screwholes are now countersunk, and have used funky black hex head machine screws.<br>
<br>
Next, cut some softwood to make 'rails' which will attach to the inside of the end cheeks, so that the front panel can rest on them, and then bolt in. Won't be much fun, but this is a labour of love.<br>

Soldering kit get more expensive... Temperature controlled soldering station, hot air gun, special tools for ICs.<br>
<br>
Its a bit like modular synthing.. Once you start, you sort of get addicted.</div>

Apart from skills and knowledge about electronics, the guy has quite a <br>
bit of specialised gear. Except to invest a certain amount of money for <br>
